Made from lightweight aluminum with excellent heat dissipation, it’s available in five different colors to match your EDC. Measuring just 2.9 inches long, it pumps out 110 lumens and casts a beam as far as 154 feet. The titanium button allows you to cycle from moonlight mode (great for not disrupting others in tight spaces) to medium mode to high mode. Perhaps best of all, it runs on a single AAA battery for a whopping 36 hours on the lowest setting. At checkout, you’ll have your choice between the CREE XP-G3 LED, which casts a brighter white beam, and the Nichia 219C LED, which is more efficient and approximately 6 percent brighter than the Nichia 219B, with only a modest amount of warmth lost.

The flashlight’s aluminum body features knurling for grip in slippery conditions. And if you do happen to drop it in the water, not to worry: It’s IPX-8 waterproof and 1.5-meter impact resistant. Attach it to your belt or pocket, reverse the clip and put it on the bill of a cap, or remove the clip altogether and slide the light into a pocket. It also stands on its tail to shed low light in a whole room.
