I purchased the new and improved Kakwa 40 and still find it a comfortable fit. There are also larger front belt pockets. What I am a little disappointed about is the larger mesh stuff sack in the back still is not big enough, the stuffing ability is limited due to the design. I was hoping this feature would be fully improved. The backpack material seems more waterproof as well

The Hawk is a simple and practical yet elegant design. In this version, the raindrop damascus is beautifully complemented by the carbon copper fiber, which mimics the damascus pattern for a unified aesthetic. Lockup is solid, blade is centered. The handle is smooth but not slick. One might nitpick the fastening screws, whose rounded heads are barely proud of the handle (and protrude more so on the pocket clip), but I personally don't find any fault with them impeding feel or function. The liners are also proud of the scales slightly, which may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they are nicely rounded (no hot spots). Decent action via flipper or thumb studs. I really like and would recommend this knife.
High quality as with all Boker knives. Nice weight = love the sheath, cuts well, too.
