To create knives that stand the test of time and embody Benchmade's legacy of innovation, the ongoing collaboration with skilled artisans, designers, and craftsmen is indispensable. One such notable partnership has been with Bill McHenry and Jason Williams, celebrated custom knifemakers with roots in watchmaking, who describe their craft as “art with an edge.” McHenry and Williams were also the masterminds behind Benchmade’s revolutionary AXIS® lock technology, first introduced with the 710 model in 1999. Now, in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of AXIS® lock technology, Benchmade proudly unveils the 710FE-24. This new edition maintains the large frame and formidable cutting power of the original, but with a modern twist. It features a sleek drop-point, recurve blade made from robust CPM S9OV steel with an FDE PVD finish. The handle is crafted from remarkably lightweight 6061-T6 Aluminum, adorned with a gray anodized finish. Additional touches include milled FDE PVD standoffs, a pocket clip, pivot ring, and satin thumb stud and AXIS® lock, making the 710FE-24 a striking anniversary variant, honoring the visionary designers McHenry and Williams.
