UNIQUE, HYBRID TENT-HAMMOCK

This hammock has been rated #1 on the market by leading publications like Backpacker and Outside. It was also the recipient of the prestigious 2015 Gear Of The Year Award by 50 Campfires. The patented design allows for use suspended, as a hammock, or on the ground, as a tent, greatly increasing camping terrain options that are often limited by the type of shelter you’re using. The spreader bar and arch pole system also keep the bed of the hammock flatter and more taut, eliminating much of the uncomfortable “cocoon” and “banana” effect created by most hammocks.
ELEVATE YOUR CAMPING GAME
The Blue Ridge Camping Hammock has attached no-see-um bug netting and a rainfly that attaches directly to the hammock, so no need for additional trees for tying off a tarp or staking. Lightweight, easy to set up and perfect for all types of camping or anyone looking for a comfortable, bug/water proof place to relax or sleep.
PLEASE NOTE
The hammock straps for hanging the hammock are not included and are sold separately. This is the baseline option since many consumers have hammock straps from previous purchases and don't want to pay for extras.

Relaxation in the backyard without the bugs

The Lawson Camping Hammock isn't just for camping; it's also a fantastic way to unwind in your own yard! Because the netting zips up tight and stays up and out of your face thanks to the curved poles, this hammock is both comfy and bug-free. I added an old quilt and a pillow for added comfort, and now I have a cozy cocoon in which I can read a book, talk on the phone, snooze, or simply enjoy the view in my garden.

Be aware it does not come with the tree straps

With the exception of the lack of tree straps, this is a wonderful hammock tent of good quality.

Great hammock tent

I really like it, but keep in mind that it won't help you save a lot of weight. However, if you like to camp in a hammock rather than on the ground, you'll enjoy this. To keep it stable, I attach ropes to the corners and stake it to the ground. I have a tendency to toss and turn, and these tie-downs help me avoid the midnight flip! There are other hammocks on the market with add-ons to keep bugs and rain out, but this one offers everything you need in one package.

Setup was simple and quick, and it performed great for backpacking.

Overall, I was pleased with the hammock, and I appreciate its versatility, which allows me to camp on a variety of terrain. It would have been wonderful if it came with tent poles, tree straps, and carabiners for the price, but I am satisfied with the product as long as it lasts. If I run into any problems on future trips, I'll update this review.

Exceptional Hammock, Poor Tent

I enjoy the Lawson as a hammock but not as a tent because of how easy it is to set up and take down. The overall weight is decent. Although this is primarily a personal bias, I don't see it as a hiking tent. It's great for motorcycle camping, which is what I'm interested in. In comparison to my Hennessey Explorer Deluxe Asym, I prefer the more spacious Lawson. It also has a flatter lie than gathered-end hammocks, which I prefer. Anyway, as the title suggests, excellent hammock, poor tent.
