Assist broke in a few days

I like the knife. I don’t like the fact the assist mechanism broke within three days of owning the knife. For a bit the knife would only deploy to 1/4 or 1/3 open. The mechanism then fully broke and the knife is now a manual flipper, which I would have preferred in the first place. I am actually quite happy with the action now that it is fully manual. I will say I went to disassemble the knife when it would only open 1/4 of the way, but after getting the show side scale off, I couldn’t figure out how the pivot comes out and I had to abandon the attempt. I would also like to grumble about Benchmade’s choice of using T6 body screws on a hard use folder. Too easy to strip.
