Benchmade® 162 Bushcrafter Fixed Blade Knife is a premium hunting and survival knife designed by Shane Sibert, well-suited for a wide range of outdoor activities. A thick, drop-point blade made of tough CPM-S30V stainless steel endures hardcore hacking and chopping, while the edge is suitably thin for fine slicing and skinning. The handle's contours and pronounced, integral finger guard provide a secure, non-slip grip in the most severe environments. The Benchmade 162 Bushcrafter Fixed Blade Knife comes with a leather sheath that utilizes a poly blade liner to keep the blade from cutting through, and an attached firesteel loop.

MUST buy

Choose a Benchmade if you just have one knife. The knife gets razer sharp. Benchmades are extremely difficult to dull. For hunting, I brought the Bushcrafter. The only downside is the price, especially if you're like me and constantly lose knives.

Handles wear and tear

I can certainly tell that after 18 months of camping, yard work, utility use around the house, and work with this knife, it is a very comfortable, strong, and practical tool.
