A great knife!
Ausome knife. It feels great in the hand, very ergonomic. The attention in the details and finishes that the manufacturers have is noticeable. Definitively MKM is an exceptional knife maker. and Jens Ansø its an excellent designer, unbeatable combination
I've wanted a goccia since they dropped, about 1.5 years ago?
The g10 or micarta wasn't compelling and the cf aalllmost did the trick...
But not.
Ok, I don't wanna spoil anyone's day, but my usual vendor wants $90 more than Kaviso for the cf version, so I finally bit.
I'm pretty happy at $160.
There is a prick hazard. This detail is not fun: the point is so close to 'outside' the scales that it will prick you.
I love MKM, but my last (Belone) also had some rough edges. I wrote a critical review of it at the time, but the style and action outlived my annoyance. Also, in my collection is the Fara. A fine knife though it doesn't make the rotation very frequently.
So, the Goccia...
Excellent action, cf scales are easy to hold without being abrasive, nice drop point blade shape, a little thick, excellent steel, useful pocket clip if you are a nightie.
Re the prick; friend suggested 2 drops of clear epoxy at the tip of the scales and voila (there must be an Italian word...) no problem.
