Clip screw broke after 2 minutes of carry

8/16 - they emailed a return label and said a replacement will be sent as soon as there's tracking info, hopefully it's a fluke.

___

One of the two (very small) screws holding the clip had the top broke off so the threaded stem is lodged inside the hole. At first I thought it's just loose, no such luck - it seems it is way too weak. There's a lanyard hole but a lot will depend on the Boker support response. Not worth it at full price, I got it for about half through a dealer and have to treat it as if it's a used unit so it turns out not to be a deal. Btw the Kaviso review confirmation email through Judge.me was immediate, still haven't gotten the so called verification from Boker - possibly actually censoring negative reviews.

Does not stay locked, significant wobble with blade extended unsafe for anything but a draw cut.

I really don't know why I didn't think this would happen, one side is literally just a weak spring you depress to slide the blade up and down. The spring gives under the slightest pressure, so it does not actually lock. Also, as one side is not stable since there is nothing to stabilize the spring side, it is very wobbly. Basically the only safe way to hold it is by holding the blade for draw cuts. I really can't recommend this. It needs something to stabilize the button side and a way to securely lock it in place, this current version is not safe to use.
