The Boker Daily Knives AK1, created in cooperation with the young knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, is a versatile small everyday knife that can be perfectly customized to your own needs. Born in Fulda in 1993, Alex Kremer began making his first knives as an 18-year-old schoolboy, with his numerous tours through the sheer endless expanses of Scandinavia still serving as a source of inspiration. The ergonomically shaped handle scales fit comfortably in the hand, and can be removed in no time at all using the enclosed Torx wrench and can be replaced with a variety of alternative scales developed and produced in collaboration with Daily Customs. In addition, the elaborately crafted lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around when the grip panels are removed so that it disappears into the handle and is a continuation of the blade, with minimal manufacturing tolerances. This means that the knife can be quickly customized to your own requirements and changed depending on the situation. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen. In this tactical version, the AK1 is equipped with a PVD-coated blade made of powder metallurgical RWL 34, a high-performance stainless steel that is ice-hardened to 61 to 62 HRC. The handle scales are made from G10 with a non-slip peel-ply texture. Supplied with a snug-fitting Kydex sheath, which is fitted with a Boker clip.
