I really like small knives. This one is no exception. It's a part of my collection.
These poles worked great on my trip to Norway. They fit perfectly in my luggage and were easy to adjust and set to height. I also really appreciate the quick feedback from customer service when changing products prior to my trip.
Great little edc and awesome service as always!
These are the lightest aluminum poles! I like the cork-like grips instead of real cork (critters chew on cork to get the salt from sweaty hiker hands). Great price, too.
This was my first time hearing about our shopping at Kaviso. How have I not heard about it? You need more marketing... or maybe not. I'll keep the deals to myself!
Amazing poles at an amazing value! I feel like I found a hidden gem! Why are more UL forums nottalking about these poles? The only minor inconvenience is a twist lock vs the speed of a clamp lock. But it's a tradeoff for weight, aethetics and durability due to simplicity. My Lifelink poles, (which were ultralight 20+ years ago at 8 oz each) are still going strong with their twist lock design.
I tested them for the first time fastpacking this weekend, and they were solid.
Nice knife
I recently purchased the Kakwa40 Ultra200X for my wife. She absolutely loves it—she says it feels incredibly light and comfortable. We’re planning a 4-day hike soon, and it’s making us even more excited to hit the trail.
Very good customer service. Very helpful.
I used the Kakwa 40 for my entire Appalachian Trail Thru Hike. A 40L pack was the perfect size for all of my gear and could comfortable fit over five days of food. The exterior mesh pocket was wonderful for quick storage during the day and letting wet stuff air out. Having a frame was wonderful and the pack carried heavy loads super comfortably. Hip belt pockets were pretty convenient, but the stretchy mesh straps further up the straps were one of my favorite parts. I carried my phone and earbuds in one and snacks in the other. You could also definitely fit a small water bottle in one for easy drinking, but the right side pockets were so easy to access anyway.
The durability of the pack was incredible. I believe it has at least another 2000 miler thru hike in it. I did have the Y-strap buckle on the top fail because I cinched down on a very full pack with far too much force. However I was able to tie the "stem" strap of the Y onto the top loop and still use the strap to carry my bear can. The ultra fabric was very strong, but I foolishly carried my spork in a hip belt and it eventually poked a hole. Again totally user error, I had a feeling for a while the spork would do that, but I didn't bother changing where I stored it.
My Kakwa now has over 2200 miles on it, and still has many more. Should it ever fail on me, I would gladly purchase another.
