Thinner material that feels fairly durable/rugged.

Construction and cut is pretty smart, concealed zippers, doubled up layers where it counts, clean stitching, powder gaiters fit comfortably snug over the dalbellos, etc.

Runs a pinch large for a medium, but thats all the better for layering as these are more of a shell-bib than an insulated bib.

What a tough and sharp tool with a saw blade that works. Highly recommend this knife.

For reference I have now had the Kakwa 40 out on trail about 15 hours / 30 miles. I am 70+ years old. The most important aspect of any pack to me is how it carries the load. All the features are secondary as a little adaptability, flexibility and creativity on the users part can make your pack work. I will never get close to the top weight limit of this pack so don’t look here for that answer but I carry between 16-19 lbs. This pack is FIVE STARS. I laughed at some YouTube people when they said at times they forgot they were wearing a pack. But it is true, even for me. The Kakwa 40 carries so well once I dial in the straps, load lifters etc. this pack is a dream. I especially like how the hip belt feels and how it cups my hips. No hip pain or back pain during or after my hikes. I can also hike further than before as fatigue is less. The features are well thought out and work well. This pack is great and for the money a great value.

This is the best version of a crossbar lock I have ever experienced. Fit and finish are great. Very good value. I’m dreaming of an XL version - if QSP is listening ;)

This pack is for summer hiking trips with a typical 20 pound load out. It is the middle of winter here in North Dakota so it will be a few months before it gets a real test. I had doubts about a forty liter pack but everything fits with room to spare and the fit seems to be right on - I'm 6' 180 lbs and I got the large.

I have been eyeballing these Kaviso penguin mini knives for over a year now. Decided to get one while I have a chance...... Sure glad that I did! This thing is Saweeet!
