But don’t let that fool you - these blades punch well above their weight class.

For our spin on this timeless design, we drew inspiration from a juxtaposition of concepts – tactical tools and sophisticated, high end materials, in refined purple and black. Fit for a Prince, guitar toting or otherwise, the Kwaiken Air and Kwaiken Air Mini are outfitted in Exclusive Purple Rain carbon fiber scales made by our friends at Fat Carbon.

The Kwaiken Air and Kwaiken Air Mini are equipped with VG-10 steel blades with an HRC of 58-60. The outstanding hardness scores are coupled with more practical features like ease of sharpening and good edge retention. For the Purple Rain Kwaikens, the VG-10 blades are coated in stealthy black and deployed via a subtle flipper tab catching a ride on ball bearings. Snappy out of the box and ready for fidgeting.
